We specialise in off road driving. Whether you are a business user of a 4x4 and need a professional off road driving course or you have your own 4x4 and want to learn how to drive off road or perhaps you just want to experience off road driving and to learn some new and different driving skills whilst having some fun.  Whatever the reason, we have a 4x4 driving course to suit your exact requirements and if we don't we'll develop a bespoke one just for you!

We have our own fleet of 4x4 vehicles which includes both standard and modified 4x4's as well as ex military vehicles. All are choosen for their off road capabilities and are representative of most types of 4x4 found on the roads today.

We hope you will be able to find a 4x4 driving course which meets your needs. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you cannot find what you are looking for or you need additional information. We pride ourselves on being able to tailor any of our courses to our customers requirements.

We operate our own purpose designed off road driving site in Kent, close to both Canterbury and Herne Bay. We are open on both weekdays and most weekends throughout the year. We can also provide training using your vehicle or ours on your land or at a selecton of suitable off road driving sites throughout the UK.

We are passionate about off road driving. Our qualified instructors have many years experience of driving a variety of 4x4 vehicles off road whether for business or pleasure. We'd like to share that passion with you. We look forward to welcoming you on one of our courses! 


4x4 Off Road Driving Experiences
We offer an exciting range of 4x4 off road driving experiences . All our offroad driving experience courses are 1:1 so you get plenty of hands on practical driving expereince and personal tuition.  To help you choose the right off road experience course we've put together some useful hints.

Planning a 4x4 Adventure Holiday or Expedition?
Are you planning an offroad 4x4 expedition, a 4x4 adventure holiday or fly drive safari? Have you considered some 4x4 expedition training before you depart?  True Grip can provide a bespoke course for you designed to give you the confidence to drive safely and competently off road.  Knowing what you and your vehicle is capable of gives piece of mind and is one thing less to worry about when you are thousands of miles from home!

If off road driving is not for you or you just want to try something different why not consider off road karting?  Maybe you are looking for that special childrens party or you need to organise a multi-activity group event?  Our Wild Tracks activities are suitable for children and adults alike (subject to a minimum age and height requirement.) and represent great value for money!

Our off road driver training site near Herne Bay and our off road karting venue near Canterbury are both easy to find and enjoy excellent road links from the M25.  The is a good range of local accommodation close by should you wish to stay in the area as well as numerous East Kent local attractions which you might like to visit.
