Our Off Road Driving Experiences

Our passion is on off road driving. Our focus is on giving you the best value 4x4 off road driving expereince possible. With True Grip Off Road you get off roading in the raw - our qualified instructors are enthusiasts, our 4x4 vehicles are working 4x4's, our sites are challenging but we won't compromise on safety and we will show you just what you and a 4x4 are capable off!

Our comprehensive range of 4x4 off road driving experience courses are suitable for those who have no previous off road driving experience as well as those who have driven off road before and wish to practice and improve their existing skills and perhaps learn some more advanced off road driving techniques.

Whether you are looking for a course which will teach you both the theoretical and practical aspects of 4x4 off road driving or you are simply looking for a fun experience which will challenge you, take you outside your comfort zone and teach you some new and different driving skills then True Grip Off Road are able to provide an off road driving expereicne course which meets your needs.

We offer both 1:1 and shared 3:1 driving expereince courses. A 1:1 course is exactly that,  it's you, the vehicle and our instructor. There is no sharing the vehicle or the driving time with strangers. A shared 3:1 course means you will be sharing the vehicle and the driving time with two other customers and our instructor.

Whether you join us for one of our own off road driving experience courses or a professional off road driving course leading to the award of a nationally recognised certificate of training, you'll receive the same level of instruction from our qualified instructors who have a real passion for off road drivng.

Our flexible approach enables us to tailor any of our experience courses to meet your exact requirments. Tell us what you would like to get out of your course and we will do our best to deliver. Perhaps you just want to see what you and a 4x4 are capable of, you may have just bought a 4x4 and want to find out what off road driving is all about or perhaps you are planning an overseas 4x4 based expedition and you want to learn the necessary off road driving techniques for the terrain you will be encountering?

Gift vouchers are available for all our off road driving experience courses. Gift vouchers are generally valid nine (9) months from the date of purchase (unless offered as part of a special promotion, in which case you will be made aware of any reduced validity period or special conditions of use).

We are open Tuesday to Sunday inclusive. We are closed on Public Holidays.

Self Drive and Practice Facility

Eastwell Park is NOT a Pay and Play Site.

However our Old Venue at Maypole near Herne Bay has now become a Self Drive and Practice Facility and is also available for hire to Clubs Societies and other Organisations for Events or Training.

The Self Drive and Practice Facility at Maypole will be open every Saturday and Sunday from 21st April 2013.

The use of Maypole for Self Drive and Practice will be subject to agreeing to abide by simple rules for safety and damage limitation to the venue. The amount of vehicles that can use the facility at any one time will be restricted for safety and enjoyment reasons (we will not be running a free for all type of venue) so prior booking on 07817454167 is essential. The names of customers who come to us will be entered on to a database and once established and trusted will enjoy a reduced charge for use of the facility.

The initial charge will be £30 per day per car from 1000hrs to 1600hrs.

Separate hire charges relate to Groups, Clubs and other Events. Please call 07817 454167 to discuss quotes.

You can, if you wish, book a minimum of a Half Day morning experience/course with us at Eastwell Manor and you can remain after your experience/course and use your own vehicle for practice for up to two hours for £20.
